Our School
An estimate of about 435 students grades PreK-5 attend Herig Elementary under the supervision of our principal, Mrs. Jeanine Kowalski. there are about 20 professional teaching staff members and about 10 support personnel, including aides, custodians, and a secretary.


                                 School start time is 8:25 and release time is 3:15

Mission Statement:

Herig Elementary School will provide the foundation for the highest level of academic achievement for all students in a caring, safe environment.

 

Goals:

1. All students will demonstrate achievement of the grade level benchmarks for the content standards for English Language Arts.

2. All students will demonstrate the achievement of the grade level benchmarks and content standards for mathematics.

3. All students will be provided a safe school with a positive climate for learning by the district, staff, parents, stakeholders and customers.
